1. Can you brief me about your security policy settings? Is
it user friendly?
We have a highly user defined security policy settings same
as Windows Security policy type. It's summarized as follows
- Built-in security policy that is flexible, easy-to-use, and designed to make
routine changes more efficient.
- Multiple security policy creations based on different levels.
- Encryption of data there by protecting the system from foreign attacks.
- Role access can be defined by modules, screens, year and company wise.
- Security policies can be overwritten screen wise and year wise.
2. I want
to restrict certain users to deny edit and delete the last year data. How can I
do it?
Yes, you can. Security Policy or User Profile screen permissions such as View,
Add, List, Delete, Edit, Cancellation and Approval are used to specify the
modules and screens particular groups have access to. Using these options you
can control it year, company, screen wise.
3. I want
to put a restriction for export data via the report? Will it be possible?
Yes. You can restrict the export options for specific reports for specific
users using security policy.
4. How can
I see the audit log for particular Transaction?
You can see the audit log using transaction log details. Transaction Log
Details screen displays the details of modified information regarding users who
log into the application, the module or screen which they currently work, the
action being performed such as Insert, Edit, Delete, Update and the transaction
details pertaining to that action.
5. Can i
view user's activities?
Yes. Login history screen keeps track of all the users who have/had logged in
and out of the application. It normally gives information regarding the
location, company name, user name and the IP address of the machine through
which the user has logged in. Logout time will be blank when the user is
currently logged in.
6. I am
using "Remember login" in login screen. Is there any way to find my password?
No, you can't. As we are using the latest 64 bit encrypted algorithms, those
settings are not visible to users even to System administrators who have direct
access to database.
7. Whether
there is any schedule Option for backup?
Yes, you can make your own schedule. You can set backup on a
Daily/Monthly/Weekly basis. You can associate backup activity at the start and
close of the application also.
1. Does your package support multi-company?
Yes. Biztec products have been designed for easy facilitation
of multiple companies within one program. This means that you can easily switch
from one company to another in just a few keystrokes -- each containing their
own set of customers, inventory, documents, locations, etc.

2. Can I
create my own company/Outlet/Corporate Information?
Yes, you can. Company Profile screen is used for creating comprehensive details
about the company. The creation of a company consists of a hierarchical
structure. The Company Logo and the information regarding the contact details
in primary and alternate languages have to be mentioned during creation time.
3. Can I
take the merged reports of selective companies?
Yes, you can. You can achieve it by selecting the appropriate companies in the
report criteria window and view the merged and comparison reports.
4. How can I
view the last year data whenever I am logged in the current company/year?
There is an option set to load current company/year or all company/year's
transaction data. Depending on the settings, the user can view the data.
5. Is it
possible to change the Date format to mm/dd/yyyy?
Yes, you can. The Configuration screen allows you to select predefined date and
time formats.
1. How can I use my native language for data inputs?
In the global economy, increasing numbers of workers must
have computing systems that support multiple languages. Biztec Product eases
the complexity of computing in a multilingual environment by providing
different versions and options designed to make it easier and less costly to
get work done-regardless of your location or the language you are using.
Biztec Product will be available in localized versions in
addition to English. In any version of our Biztec product, you can display,
input, edit, and print documents in any language. You or an IT administrator
can set regional preferences, keyboard layouts, date & time formats, and so
on.
2. Whether
your package supports Right to Left Localization?
Yes our package supports both left to right and Right to left screen layouts.
3. Can I
switch into different data language in the middle?
Yes, you can. But it's not advisable to switch in the middle because it results
in mixed language data.
1. I am taking merged reports of two companies having
different currency? In which currency the report should be?
All our Biztec products are multicurrency based systems. This
facilitates buying and selling internationally. It allows you to trade in
multiple currencies while your books and reports remain in the currently logged
in companies domestic currency.
2. Whether
we are able to change the currency subunit into 3 decimal digits?
Yes, you can. According to the Currency decimal settings, all the transaction
screens show 2 or 3 decimal digits.
1. Can I specify company wise multiple approvals for each
transaction?
Yes, it's one of the salient features of our package.
Approval Definition is meant to configure the documents that undergo approval
cycle. After knowing the levels of approval, user has to specify Approval
Level, Authorized User(s) and Message recipients etc.
2. Whether
there is any way to remind me about my pending approvals?
Yes, you can. You can use our auto reminders for that purpose. Reminders are
spread across the whole application in various contexts. Users could configure
it according to snooze time. These reminders can be set on/off at user's
discretion. They could be used for user defined tasks, incoming messages,
pending approvals and document expiries. But be sure, to turn that option in
user level settings.
3. How can
I restrict Approval History to unauthorized viewer?
By using Security Policy or User profile you can disable Approval history view
from unauthorized users.
1. Is it necessary to purchase Microsoft Outlook to use
tasks or internal mails?
No Need. To reduce the learning curve of the user, we
followed the widely accepted Microsoft Outlook user interface which is more
popular in PCs and PDA's. You can define your task schedule, with due date and
time, select the task category and set the priority such as High, Low and
Medium. Messaging is meant for communication between the users within the
application.
2. Is there any
way to remind me about my schedules like Microsoft Outlook?
Reminders are spread across the whole application in various contexts. Users
could configure it according to snooze time. These reminders can be set on/off
at user's discretion. They could be used for user defined tasks, incoming
messages, pending approvals and document expiries.
1. How can I customize my report Layout?
- There are provisions to change Right to Left or Left
to Right and Page setup can be selected as Portrait/Landscape.
- Provisions to change Company Logo, Name, Address, Report Heading, Date, Page
No and User Name.
- You can set the properties of report columns for Visible, Moveable, Resizable
and Same Position status.
- You can set the font for the reports.
- You can restore to default report settings within a single click.
- You can customize your reports company wise.
2. How can I filter the data in reports?
All our reports have a wide variety of report criteria choices you are choosing from. There is a provision to filter all the report data based on Dates, Serial no etc. Thus you are limiting the data retrieval before they are fetched from the server. After the report gets displayed, there are provisions to sort and filter the displayed data along with a provision to print only the selected pages.
3. How can I save my report settings?
You can customize the existing reports by selecting the required columns, changing the fonts and color settings. You can select your own sorting, and enable your own Filter criteria’s. Provision to save the report criteria’s can also be selected. It greatly minimizes the time for you by simply loading your settings.
1. How can I synchronize my data between remote outlets?
We are using database's inbuilt replication concept to
synchronize your data between outlets or company. Data replication refers to a
data storage and backup strategy that copies data from a host computer to
another computer, which may or may not be at a remote location.
You can choose any one of the following for your data
replication,
Online data replication -
In data replication over a network such as the internet, the data backup is
made on a real time basis wherein the data from the host server is copied onto
the remote location as soon as the data is changed
Offline data replication -
In offline data replication, a backup of the data file is taken on a remote
location on an offline basis, such as once in a day. Offline data replication
is preferred in environments where the number of transactions is very low or
independent of other data
2. How can I speed
up my synchronization?
Your synchronization completely depends upon the mode & medium of
communication you are choosing from. You can choose from the wide range of
communication medium like Dial up, ISDN, ADSL, Internet and direct copper wire
transmission. It completely depends on your budget and need.
1. Is it possible to use our existing swipe card machine?
Yes, you can. We provide you with the hardware interface
programs if you are able to provide the detailed Hardware information, Drivers,
technical details of interfacing. We have lot of experience in developing those
types of interfaces.

The software has been designed to support and work with GPRS
